When I was younger it was the same way. I was the older sister though, and my younger brothers got everything they could have wanted.
In the long run it will work out. It is sure not fair I know but you will learn how to cheris what you have and will grow up into a fine man. My brothers now have a hard time they dont want to work and expect things to be handed to them. They are struggeling like crazy just to get by and I help them through it.
I never once got mad at them its not their fault you know, its just the way the world works sometimes.
Hang in their take advantage of the scholarship and make your life great. When you have kids you can make it right by making sure everyone gets the same treatment. It will be ok.

I do feel your pain. But what's done is done. I have struggled to make ends meet my husband left us and I had no money and he took both vehicles when he left...leaving me with nothing. So all I could afford was a 79 chevy caprice, black, little rusty. But it ran, and it got me to work and work is what I kept on doing, working hard until I could buy something newer. I drive 46 miles to work one way each day and that thing was not good in snow and ice or on gas. But I made it and now have a 2004 family car to haul the kids and I around in. Just make a budget, a list of goals to achieve, financially and what you need to get there to get what you want. You will succeed and knowing you did it on your own is worth more than anything anyone can just hand over to you....trust me!!!

I didn't have ANY car until I was out of college and bought one myself. Then my younger brother was given one when he graduated.
Although I agree, it doesn't seem right for your parents to do this, life isn't fair. If you feel you can discuss it with them without becoming angry, then ask them why. Ask them what you did to deserve to be treated this way. But be prepared to keep your old car.
Try not to let this 'get to you.' If you give in to anger and resentment, it will hurt YOU a lot more than it will hurt them. Don't give them the POWER to make you bitter and angry.
Take care.

It probably won't make you feel good right now, but you are going to be a much better person for this.... It will teach you the value of things, and of getting them for yourself instead of having them handed to you....
Why in the world would your parents do this??? Did they give you any explanation at all?

Nothing is going to make you feel better. Just know that you will grow up more well adjusted for the real world.

Don't sweat it...its better that she has a new (more relaible) ride - its safer and more dependable. Wish her the best and offer to help her take care of it. Be a big brother.
