Yeah now they're killed by car bombs and such.

The misconception is that Afghanistan is all free now. NATO controlled areas are pretty few and far between. The only area that is pretty stable and free of violence is Kabul.

There are still vast areas out in the country firmly controlled by Taliban or regional warlord forces.

It's good to have the Taliban on the run, but the situation in Afghanistan today is still far from what one might call a success.

Did you ever stop to consider that your feeble attempts at defending Bush are just giving the other side all the ammunition they need. When they dispute you using real facts and figures, it makes you look really lame. I think you've got a bush between you and the truth and it seems to be obscuring your vision. Why don't you hire a good landscaper and get that cleared away? That's the real problem you know, America - Lost in the Bushes!
