God did not give the kid cancer. God does not want anyone to suffer. He is a God of love and mercy.
Why should God solve our problems? Is it God's fault that we have this problem? What have we done to solve our problem? God is not an instrument to be used to solve our problems. God has given us everything we need -- this world, his laws, his Spirit, a superior mind -- so that we can live in peace and be happy. God simply can not change the biological, chemical and physical laws he created so that we will not suffer. For example, if a brick is about to fall on my head, God will not change the law of gravity so that I will not get killed by that brick. Sometimes, we just have to let God be God.
Every trial and suffering has a message for us. Buddhists have a nice way of explaining the mystery. It is basically the same as the Christian teaching on dying to ourselves: "to live is to suffer, to suffer is caused by desire, to transcend desire is the middle way, the middle way leads to nirvana." That sounds like spiritual euthanasia. Jesus Christ and the great saints of the Church took the teaching one step further. They said to end suffering one must not only learn how to control desires. One must also learn how to love unselfishly because love heals, nourishes and redeems us. What St. Paul said is true. Love conquers all things. I hope this helps you.
Peace and every blessing!

Maybe God plans for her is to let her suffer in this lifetime, now He has her. Doesn't He has a plan for everyone? I see no different between a 8 year old kid died from cancer and a 80 years old died from cancer. Just that one lived longer than the other, we will all die. It was her time, even if it was a short one I am sure her time spent here were great. Now she is in a better place. If you want to find out more ask people that are going through the same thing, maybe they will provide you with the answer that you are looking for.

After mans fall from grace, we were subject to all ills and pains that afflict mankind now. God didn't give the cancer, our fall from grace did.
I have handled accidents where innocent 2 yr old was killed. No her fault. The fault was the drunk that did it. God could prevent all bad and evil but would you worship him then?
My dad died when I was eleven. God didn't do it, His aortic valve blew out. Possibly God had a plan here. I don't know . I know it is normal to blame someone or something and that is why we blame God because we already instinctively know there are things beyond our control and we don't like that very much. I wish you well and hope your anger subsides and is replaced with hope.

That is what you get when you believe that God is in control of everything as if no one has free will and everything that happens is His will.
Sickness like cancer is the same as being runover by a speeding car. It has no regards for age, sex, race or belief. Cancer comes as a consequence of wrong food, exposure to bad elements, environmental hazards, contaminations including hereditary conditions. God did not put that into the child nor to anybody. Man oftentimes is the major contributor of that sickness due to wanton disregards for the effects of modernization. Children and old people are oftentimes the victims.

God does not build mortal bodies and mortal beliefs, and then insist they become sick and die. A mortal body is not the body of man, nor did God make it. If God could do horrible things to children or adults, then God would be horrible, but God is love, and perfect love casts out fear. When we understand what this means, we then start to recognize what lies look like and where they come from, and what substance a lie is dependent on to "exist."

If it's a personal loss you're talking about, I'm very very sorry for your loss. I lost a year-old neice once. I hope in time the pain lessens for you.
And I agree. A child dying of cancer makes no sense.
If god is all-loving, he wouldn't allow it
If go was all powerful, he wouldn't allow it
So god is either not all loving or not all powerful

because out of every tragedy, there is a good thing that happens. My child died before I gave birth.. I did nothing wrong, but it gave me huge strength, the ability to be more forgiving, to help others going through a miscarriage or death of a child, to be closer to God, be more understanding. The death of my baby changed others in my family for the better too. I don't know the exact reason anything like this happens, but there is a reason that you might not ever know. Maybe the child's death touched someone you don't know , but changed him to the point of a new life and giving others a new path to travel.

Everything happens for a reason. We do not know now, but one day in Heaven all things will be revealed. Everyone dies at some point. Do you blame God for that too? Because if you do, then you believe in Him. God loves you, and you probably don't care at least not now. God is waiting for you to accept him; don't end up in Hell. That's where your heading if you don't accept Christ.

God wouldn't give anyone cancer. Cancer is a result of mutated cells growing at a rapid rate. In many cases the cause is unknown. why does one person get sick and someone else doesn't. we simply don't know.
