Any good kids books story ideas?
Any of you have a good childrens story book idea, either a learning book or a fairy tail. Please no sarcastic answers! Thanks

Al;ittle unclear if you want names of books or ideas for writing a book, so here is something for both.
Usbourne books are great for all ages. They have things to find and do as well as some great stories.
Another book my children love is Debi Glioris bedtime Stories. It has eight or nine traditional tales but with some very amusing twists.
If it's ideas you are after, mine seeme to like ones they can relate to. Keep language simple and use phrases they understand.
Ideas to use could be a trip to the farm to see where milk comes from or for older ones to the museum to find out about past times.
Or how about some cookery books but in story form?

My kids have always loved the book Monster at the end of this book. It is a Sesame Street book all about Grover. It is so cute. The giving tree is a wonderful book too. I'll love you forever is another good book as well. It would be helpful to know the age of the child to be able to give you more age appropriate suggestions.

Maybe something about what a kid wants to be when they grow up, could be a learning book. Something like "My dads job" or My Moms job". Or maybe something along the line of, " I can change the world" pointing out good things kids can do to help the environment or the quality of life or both. I have recieved offers from the institute of childrens literature, but have not followed up on it yet. I would like to write kids books some day . Hope I was of some help to you.

My daughter always loved Robert Munsch books (my personal favourite was "Love Your Forever" only I could never read it all the way through without crying). My son loves Russell The Sheep and Franklin books.
