1. Click in the cell.
2. Select the Format->Cells menu item.
3. On the Alignment tab, go to the Vertical list box and select Top.
4. Click OK

Click on the cell. Then "right" click on the cell. This will give you a new box with tabs along the top. Click on the alignment tab. On that page look for the word vertical. In the space below that type "top" and that will put your text at the top. If you use the drop down menu there you will see all the other choices that you have for your text.

Right-click in the cell you want to align text and select Format Cells. Click the Alignment tab. There you can align text horizontally--left, center, right--or vertically--top, middle, bottom. You can even format text direction and word wrap on that property window.

Right Click on the cell, click Format Cell..., Chose Aligment Tab, in the dropdown box Vetical select Top.

To fix this, select (click on) your cell. Right click on it and click "Format Cells...", or go to the "Format" menu at the top of the window and click on "Cells..."
Then click the tab named "Alignment", and change the "Vertical" alignment in drop down box from "Bottom" to "Top". Then click "OK"

not sure if this will help, but you can wrap the text by clicking Format --->cells ----> Alignment then click on Text wrap. This will allow you your text to be displayed better.

Right-click on the cell, and choose FORMAT, then Alighment, then in there, you can set how the numbers go within that cell.

right click->format cells->align (it's called something like that, i'm not looking at the moment)->horizontal or vertical
