It just seems to me in past experiences that women like men that are players and that walk all over them, break thier heart forever. Yet a nice nerdy outgoing guy that will stick by your side gets completely unoticed. I have a girlfriend now, but damn it was hard getting one. Why ?

have you ever thought about the dorky/geeky GIRLS. no one notices them..**cough** **cough** me!!! i feel so left out just because im not popular!!!!! its not fair that popular goes out with popular and the imbetweens go out with NO ONE and the geeks go out with geeks!!!! i am so heartbroken and confused!!!!!

Players are normally really outgoing, girls notice them first, the nerdy ones are on the quiet side, so you guys are kind of pushed back. But I prefer the cute geeky guys, it's just hard to get to know some of them. =)
And some girls just want flings..

well for me, i have always wanted a man that i felt could hold his own (and mine) if the chips were down.
on the surface, nerds dont look like they could provide what i want. looks are not everything but they do count for something.
i dont know that having a preference is a bad thing. some choices are bad for us.
other people's preferences have gotten all of us unnoticed at one time or another.
the fact that u have a girlfriend now means that some women are growing...

Playing, and getting played, is important to prepare you for life. Some girls get stuck and don't develop, but others know a good man when they see one. I could have married any of the players, instead I played them and left them, learnt and moved on. Players are not marriage material.

OK, girls like players because they pay absolute attention to them for the period of time that they do. they make them feel like they have something to offer, they feel like they mean something special.
i think. i was never one for that. i am wayyyyyy too jealous for that. call me selfish but i would prefer if the guy only was all up on me, not some random chick.
i like geeks. i am a jock and a cheerleader, and i know that i am not unattractive, (before you judge me i have a 4.3 GPA) but i could not deal with a stupid guy. some one who knows random facts, like the root of the Nile is in Abyssinia, and could carry a rather heavy converation on just about any topic, and not just do the 'uh huh' thing. i like the smart guys, and, like you know, there are other girls out there who love that!

Women need to feel like we'll be protected. We go for the bad boy because that tough exterior makes us feel safe.
But... I finally gave up on the bad boys who kept walking all over me and settled down with the nerd of my dreams. In the end, financial and emotional security win out.

*G* Because, we never know what to expect from the bad boys. And, deep down many women have this need to fix things. And they think they will be the one to fix the bad boy. But, take heart, bad boys are fun to play with, but the geeky nerds are the ones we keep.

Most girls just go for the boys that are hot or good-looking; which are usually the players. I think that most nerdy boys have better personalities and are more fun to be with, and they are also sweeter.

neither one is any good. the one that likes players is usually slutty and the one that likes nerds is usually after their money
very few good women out there...
i've been with over 60 chicks, and only two of them were good but i screwed up both times... i'm 28, so i still have plenty of time though...

I think it has to do with the taming the bad boy...or wanting to be the one he loves enough to change for. Guys do the same thing...they go for the real witches and nasty girls when there are plenty of nice sweet ones going unnoticed.

Because its not the player they love, its him, women want high-class men. And its not the heart breaking they like.[Duh]
Just think of it this way, if I made a girl laugh because she knows I'm right, she would like me more than a guy who made a dumbass of himself.
