Your body's energy is stored in fat. So if your not putting energy, i.e Food into your system it has to use the stored stuff, i.e fat.
Starving yourself to lose weight has many many more bad things to happen than good. Because your body also needs proteins and enzymes. These cant be found in fat too much so your body will start eating at your muscles too.

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.
I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.
It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

No that is not true. Your gastric juices would just eat away at the lining of your stomach if anything. The lining of the stomach is constantly being replaced so that is why your stomach is not completely torn down by the gastric acids. There is no way that the fat from your thighs or arms could be eaten by your stomach.

definite, once you have an empty abdomen, your physique has long gone into what they call "starvation mode", while it assumes that there is a scarcity of nutrients, and starts off to keep all your fat and eat your muscle. something you eat while your somewhat hungry would be saved as fat. that's why you could desire to eat 5 small nutrients an afternoon, so your physique will comprehend there is rather some nutrients around and there is no could desire to hold onto your fat cells.

go to weight watchers and follow this instructions and you will lose those unwanted pounds --- the plus is that you can eat healthy and not be miserable with an empty stomach --- that empty stomach does nothing to help you lose weight -- and those folks around you will be amazed at the change in your self esteem and the change in your dress size --- all the gimicks and fads and pills will never do the trick -- just do the "weight watchers" program and change your life and lifestyle >>> then you will be a much happier and good looking person ...... you can do this .. KEEP THE FAITH ............

Sure its true. But it also eats away at muscle. Plus once you start eating you gain weight excessively because your metabolism is completely screwed up. There are all sorts of diets and starvation techniques that can and do work. However the healthiest way to loose weight is diet and exercise.

Sorry no. When your stomach is EMPTY, your brain thinks there is famine, i.e. no food available. So it hangs on tight to your fat to keep you from starving.
Eat less food, eat small meals every 3 hours, and you will loose weight without exercising.
A small meal can be a single burger, or a bananna. etc.

If you think that starving yourself is a wonderful alternative to exercise, you have a missing screw somewhere.
No.
Your stomach won't "eat itself" until you are at least a good week to a week and a half into starvation. You burn calories by breathing, pretty much. If you are not eating as much as you are burning, you lose weight.

Nope. If your stomach is empty, and stays empty your body goes into famine mode which causes it to turn muscle into fat. So, your weight will drop but you will get bigger since fat weighs less than muscle.
