It's not impossible to extract the Tylenol. You can find instructions on Erowid for cold water extraction. But it's not smart, and nobody does it unless they're tryign to get high. Ask your doctor for somethign without Tylenol.

If you don't like the answers you're getting, then stop asking the question over and over! I've seen the same question at least 3 times in the last 2 days. Apparently, it can't be done. And why are you afraid to talk to your doctor about your meds? If you're so concerned about the tylenol ask for something else! BTW, if you take the elixir as prescribed, at the proper dosage, it is NOT too much tylenol PER DOSE. But now if ya want to drink the whole bottle, then I can see how that would be a problem for you. Bigger than the tylenol issue.

I'm pretty sure that it's not possible to extract the tylenol from the lortab elixir, sorry.

You can't.

If you need to take large doses, then you need to contact your doctor. If you are really having trouble and the doctor agrees you need something stronger, then you could be given a prescription for Oxycontin. It's like Percocet, but without any Tylenol. There is no way you can remove the Tylenol from your medication. Neither liquid or pill form. It's not possible.

Physically impossible to extract the tylenol (pill or liquid)--maybe with a biochemistry lab and a PhD; you just need a different prescription for another opioid that is stronger without the tylenol. If anyone tells you they can extract it--they are jerking your chain.

What's the real reason you want to extract the Tylenol? People who try it with pills are doing it for 1 of 2 reasons, either to snort it or to shoot it up. If you are really concerned about the high dose of Tylenol, then you should just talk to your doctor about changing your prescription.

You cannot separate the acetaminophen out of the elixir.
