Pedigree, or any of their brands were not on recall. You can safely feed it. I can't exactly remember the name of their manufacturing place, but it's not Menu Foods.
However, I would suggest a higher quality food, as Pedigree is still crap. Innova, Orijen, Canidae, Wellness, Timberwolf Organics, Artemis and Eagle Pack are all good brands, none of which have been recalled.

Some Pedigree dry dog foods that were sold in Family dollar or dollar general stores have been recalled for possibly containing metal fragments.

Pedigree is made by Effem Inc. in Canada and has not had any recalls. Effem Foods (Thailand) Co, which makes Pedigree for Asia had had recalls in southeast Asia, Japan and other parts of east Asia.

Pedigree is a Waltham product, I believe. To my knowledge it has not had any recalls. You can get a complete list of recalled foods at the FDA website or at nationalpetfoundation.com

i'm glad you asked. i actually don't know where it is made but i do know it is made with the same ingedients used in the recalled foods. try something you can't get at a grocery store. read labels, if it has wheat/wheat gluten or corn/corn gluten stay away. try foods with ingredients you have heard of before like chicken, chicken meal, turkey, turkey meal, lamb, lamb meal and so on. brands to try are Innova, Innova EVO, Chicken Soup for the dog lovers soul, Blue Buffalo, Timberwolf Organics, Wellness, Nature's Variety. you will have no worries on any of those, i have tried them all and not only does my og love them but she is extremely health, according to the vet who has repeatedly offered to trade me his dog for mine;)
