The first thing you need to understand is that ALL females want to get their way. Some of us are more flexible than others, but we all want things to be the way we want them. Being a brat is an entirely different thing though. If it's not something you can deal with or don't want to, then don't. Simple as that.

Good question - why should you? Do you see any redeeming qualities in this person? Are her antics regular and invading? Does it put undue pressure on you and your relationship? Do you find that you are always 'reacting' to what she says and does? Does she attempt to 'see it your way at all? Or do you just 'give up'? If you can answer these questions, you will probably be able to help yourself. I have a thought about people like this - handle with a longggggggggggg spoon. You shouldn't because if she really liked you then she would realize what she is doing and what it is doing to the relationship (assuming you are in one with her) and she would try to change that attitude.
