May 13th---You can take your Mother out for Brunch or get her a card, and volunteer to do something special for her like cleaning the house or cooking or something else.

Here's something creative that will be appreciated and you will have fun doing:
Make up a crossword puzzle and have all the hints be personal inside moments and jokes that only you two would know about. Put it on a poster board and add some clipart and some pictures to it!
The crossword puzzle could be time consuming and a bit frustrating ... you could do the same idea with a WORDSEARCH or WORDFIND puzzle.
Put your computer skills to work! Use Excel, get clipart from Yahoo Images Search, copy them, and reformat them, use a gluestick to put on posterboard.
Use graph paper, and pictures from magazines if you are not as good on the computer, and it will give it a homemade feeling.

On Sunday, May 13, 2007. Of course give her a card but how about giving her the day off. Cook her some breakfast in bed. Clean the house for her, do the laundry, watch the little kids so she can go out to a movie or take her to a movie. Spend the day with her and buy her lunch or dinner. Or just spend the day with her, period. Buy her a gift card for a manicure and a pedicure. Buy her a gift card to the spa for a facial and a massage.

May 13, 2007 . I would get her some flowers or a nice jewelry box, or something that she really likes like bath and body certificate? Or a day in the spa! All mothers like to be pampered.

May 13th. I think the best thing you can give your mum besides a lovely card, expressing warmth and love for her, is your time. Not just on Mother's day , but always. Make her a meal or take her out to dinner so she doesn't have to cook on mother's day. It doesn't have to be expensive , just make reservations ahead.
Give her an I owe you booklet, of things you'll do for her. I owe you a week's full of dishes and housecleaning. I owe you a special day when I take you out with me and I pay for the day, no matter what we do.
