I thought this was Religion and Spirituality site but lately it has turned in to a disgusting site with a lot of rude questions and answers, where is the love and the compassion?
Why swear and ask indecent questions, have you no shame?
Can we please ask or answer with decency and love or is that to hard to do?

you are absoultly right..before i used ot enjoy comming to this section now..i try n avoid it...infact this very section sometimes repluses me soo much that i dont feel like comming to y!A....

Some of the Christians on this site aren't indecent and disgusting. Some are downright friendly and courteous.I've even noticed a few Christians showing love and compassion.

I don't know about you but I am know longer bothered by what anyone has to say. If you want to understand many different points of views then you are in the right place. In this venue your core belief system will be question, ridiculed, and argued from every side imaginable. There are all sorts of people in the world. How they are have nothing to do with you. So just ignore the ones that have an ax to grind. There are usually the less intelligent and weak.
Oh how I love open forums.

Christ didn't get any respect from those who opposed Him. To expect that is not realistic. Someone gave me this illustration once:
Suppose you are in a room and the room is pitch black so that you can't even see the hand in front of your face. Suddenly someone comes into the room, shuts the door and turns on the brightest light you ever saw and shines it directly in your face. You react by throwing your hand across your eyes and perhaps you say something very unkind to the one who is holding the light. Later you found out that they heard you were in trouble and came to help but in their zeal to help you they put the light in your eyes and made you angry.
People are walking in spiritual darkness, and you put the light of the gospel into dark room of their souls, and they put their defenses up and say things that hurt others. They don't know that it is your zeal and the love of Christ that is making you want to share the gospel with them, and they don't understand
that you make mistakes when you do so and that makes them
angry.
Sometimes people will listen to you if you apologize for being so zealous that you offend them, but sadly some will not. This is part of what the Bible promises when Jesus said, Ye shall be hated of men for my name's sake. Is the servant greater than His Master? If they hated me they will also hate you because you are not of this world as I am not of this world."
There are some people who are willing to listen and believe the truth of what you say, but there are those also who have hardened their hearts to the gospel. This will change when the Lord comes and brings all evil to an end once and for all.
Until then we are to love everyone no matter how they treat us
as Christ did when they were spitting on Him and mocking Him and nailing Him to the cross. Be encouraged! Eternity will be full of joy. The Bible tells us that: "Our light affliction which is for a moment will work for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory. While we look NOT at the things which are seen but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal (temporary), but the things which are not seen are eternal." 11 Cor. 4:17-18

If you will notice that the ones you refer to are, almost exclusively, the ones who hide behind the anonymity of YA... they know exactly what they are doing and that it would get them in great trouble if the world knew their identities... Those who honestly take a stand and do so openly are bombarded by the hate mongers here.... this is no different than almost every other public forum on the net... the vermin come out of the sewers and hide in the shadow of Internet anonymity under their false names and identities... because they can not stand the full light of Truth.

John 3:16 .“For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life".so when we believe in JESUS we have eternal life.JESUS lived a sinless life and gave up his life as a sacrifice so we can be sin free. Ask JESUS to come into your heart and forgive ur sins and cleanse ur past with his blood.
With a simple prayer like above u can be saved.JESUS loves u and wants u to be saved.

I think some just like to elicit anger in people,to see if we really are what we say we are.We cant be so easily offended,Jesus did say when someone offends you do not return insult for insult.Love covers a multitude of sin.The world is in darkness,we are to be light in a dark place.Jesus sat with the sinners,and he loves them.Be blessed and try to understand,your answer or question may change a persons understanding of Christs love and patience.

Those kind of people have no Law to live by..lack of the necessary morality to stop trying to ask and answer things in such a disrespectful way...these people are tomorrows future....just imagine them out in the community and how they will react to anything they do not like..no wonder the Bible says what it does about how things will be before Jesus comes..total lawlessness.....we are getting so close to that.

It's a shame that those religious people that strive for all-people-loving and openminded beliefs are the ones so quick to defend their own ideas by putting down others.
I agree, I think everyone should just get along. :)

Thank you, looking at a lot of the questions and answers its kind of sad to see such hurting and wounded people and then the angry ones who hate God and try get happiness out of hurting others and raging against God.

I agree with you and something else that annoys me is those people who copy and paste the entire Book of Job as an answer!
