Satan was kicked out of heaven with a third of the angels. These angels are now called demons and legion. They are many and surround the people of this world. There is a spiritual battle going on all around you. Pray for protection from all evil.

Revelation 12:7-9

And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,

And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.

And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels(demons) were cast out with him.

Satan uses his demons, angels that chose to go with him instead of God when Lucifer (satan) claimed to be greater than God and got kicked out of heaven.

Fallen angels, and a host of creepy little demons. The concept originates with the ancient Persian faith founded by Zarathustra; evil spirits were called daevas. You don't mess with dem boys.

Stormy K!!!
You know the answer.
When Satan rebelled, he took other rebellious angels with him. He is their leader.
Those other rebellious angels are called 'demons' and they abet the Devil.

It is written in Matthew 4:
3 And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.
4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeded out of the mouth of God.
5 Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple,
6 And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.
7 Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.
8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;
9 And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.
10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

Words and temptation.
