When a female dog is spayed, all of the internal reproductive organs are removed. Ovaries and uterus above the cervix. There should be no bleeding or any signs of heat cycles. If anything does occur, go see your vet.

They do not bleed after they are spayed. Spaying is the best practice unless you plan to breed. A spayed female or a neutered male will be healthier in the long run. The surgery done at 6 mos or thereabout will eliminate the possibility of any reproductive cancers. Also greatly reduce the chance of prostate cancer or problems in the males and mammery tumors in females. Females should be spayed before their first heat cycle but it is almost never too late to perform the procedure on a healthy animal.

No she will not. Spaying eliminates the heat cycle completely.
When a dog is spayed the uterus and ovaries are removed.

After your dog is spayed ... she wont go into heat anymore, so no bleeding. No desire to reproduce because the reproductive organs aren't there.

She can right after surgery. But once she's heal up she shouldn't. If she has been spayed for a long time and suddenly developed periods get her to a vet ASAP.

I'd give your vet a jingle, especially if she has been spayed a while.
