What feelings are being avoided with binge/emotional eating?: Anxiety, fear, loneliness, anger, guilt, or any uncomfortable emotion may be at the root of a bingers eating.
Food changes the chemical balance in the body. Some foods increase endorphin levels, which in turns creates a sense of happiness or contentment in any bad/emotional situation.

Binging is still binging. Over eating is still over eating whether it's sitting there eating massive quantities of chocolate or carrots. What's the real reason for the binging is what you ought to be asking yourself. Are you lacking something in your diet and you're seeking it out? Are you secretly purging? If so this is extremely dangerous. It can be life threatening. Talk to your doctor about this. Gluttony or binging. It's still not good for you. Be well.
