Have you ever heard of the group dynamic? It is what born again Christian feel and attribute it to God. I can produce that feeling in any large group wanting to find something more in their lives.

What do you think made Amway large and any other multilevel marketing program.

Does it remind you of blasphemy? Are you reliving seeing all of the ways that Hollywood has invented to turn people's hearts away from God, as in the movie "Saved?" Does it remind you of reading popular books today that show people who believe in God are so much not what you would want to be, because the characterizations are cleverly derived to make you think that? Oh, one more question. Are you able to think or is simply being entertained enough for you?

edit:

I don't believe that the concept that is being denigrated in popular fiction and movies today is the true belief in Jesus Christ, I was merely pointing out that our mental gyrations and emotions are manipulated by it, and that that is only possible because we have become a people who don't think. Believing in God and accepting the gift of salvation is not the same thing as not taking part in mockery of him. Being born again is something that can't be shown in movies or books, can't be fictionalized because it is that moment in a person's life when belief in the forgiveness of their own sin is made real for each individual. That is personal.

1 Corintheans 2:14 says, "The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned."
