The purpose is to show how many grab and holds were there in the bout, hence editing out most of everything else, we already known the result, this is merely a compiliation of the staggering amount of holds iniated by Wlad and the incompetance of the referee. around 9 minutes of hugging action without a word from the ref is astounding. People complain that Peter hit him on the back of the head well if he wasnt lunging in to hold on then the punches wouldnt land there!
I think the referee should get everlasting bann for ignoring such action from wlad.It was the urgliest fight i ever watched in my life and it makes me dislike boxing a bit.

it sounds like horrible officiating but you have to remember this is boxing. wlad was considered the golden-child at one point in his career, the heavyweight that would save boxing.
some(only a few) still believe that he can save the sport so he is given a lot of protection and many chances to fail.
wlad has a serious problem though. he has no chin therefore grabbing is part of his defense. if he had a chin he could dominate. his offense can be so beautiful at times very technical and efficient but he has that one horrible flaw. without a chin he is just another medium level fighter.
