It makes the bread that sticks in your teeth softer so you can swallow it and the pb less gritty. If the milk is real cold, it makes pb&j taste more like ice cream.

Do you think it is because the pb sticks to the roof of your mouth?
And you have to wash it off with something.
Pop, I don't think so.
Same as with Oreo cookies, though they are good with coffee, too.

I do because peanut butter is kind of "dry" tasting and the fat in milk helps make it less so.
