Is this for real? If yes, then no you did not make a mistake, because anyone who is truly sorry for sinning against God and repents and is born again is saved through salvation of Jesus Christ. However, I am wondering if your axe-murderer ever got caught because usually a crime like this is punishable by law and is usually life in prison or the death sentence, or are you one of those ones who is married to someone behind bars and only gets visits on the weekends and such?
