I have lost a total of 120 pounds so far.
I lost 105 pounds in my first 6 months. Here is how I did it.
1. Every morning get up and walk for 45 minutes. You can start with less time, but you want to get up to 45 minutes, and it must be fast walk. You want your heart rate to go up. It must be in the morning, it kick starts your metabolism.
2. I cut out Red Meat, and fatty foods. Boneless skinnless chicken breast, baked, or grilled, rice and vegetables (steamed).
3. Eat half. Just eat half of what you normally eat. Put 1/2 on your plate, and put the rest away. Cook less. When you go to fast food, get salads only. Or grilled chicken. No fries, only diet soda. Or water.

It will work, once you get into a routine, you will get hooked on the results, and you will keep the routine. It has been over a year for me.

Also start counting your calories. Write them down. You would be amazed as to how much more aware you are of your caloric intake, if you actually write it down. We recently discovered a site that offers a great program that counts calories, as well as keeps track of everything. It allows multiple users, so everyone in the family can keep track. They offer a free 7 day trial, and so far I am very impressed with the product. Try the 7 days and see. It allows you to add the exercise that you do during the day, which increases the amount of calories you can take in. Very Cool!!

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.

I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.

It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

Get started today!

Get your metabolism up by taking gym classes, going for a walk after dinner. Even if you walk for only 15-20 minutes your body will respond. Endorphines will kick in and help you feel good. You may find yourself increasing the time you want to go walking. This also gives you time to be by yourself, work out problems. Of course, if your endorphines are kicking in and making you feel good, those problems may not seem so great, and if they still are great, pray. I know it sounds hokey, but prayer really does work. I've had some really unexplainable things happen after I let God have it with both barrels. So go ahead and get mad. He has really broad shoulders and can take it. Not only that but he wants to hear from you.

A lot of people are probably thinking "religious fanatic." No just informed, experienced believer.

Get your doctor to suggest an exercise program. I can't emphasize that enough. Get your doctor to advise you on what you need to do. Now I'm not talking sit-ups. I wouldn't do those. But ask him or her how you can safely get your metabolism up so that it works more efficiently for you. Maybe there's another health issue that needs to be addressed.

Also drink more water. Most of don't come close to drinking the recommended amount of water we're supposed to drink each day. Our organs need water in order to work efficiently. Our body is supposed to be 93 percent water. Fill 'er up. When you are trying to quench a thirst don't make it cold or hot. Tepid water won't shock your body and this will allow your body to absorb the rapid more rapidly, and thus quenching your thirst. Hope this helps you.

If you can, try to get into a school program.
If you're school has a weight training program i sugest you get in there and do lots of reps with light weights to tone up.

If not, get into some sort of sports, such as tenis, basketball or get into track or something like that
I lost body fat percentage, by weight training. Gained 7 pounds of muscle in last 2 months. Lost fat on my thighs/caths into pure muscle.

Trust me, if you have muscle then you can burn of calories even if you are still/sleeping.
Think of you muscles as a Car Engine. IT needs Fuel to run right? Say the fat is the gasloine of the muscles needed for it to run. The bigger the muscle, the more fuel it alows it to burn. So get some muslce and you;re fat will burn off away.

The quickest way is honestly to join a sports team, but barring that, work exercise into your daily routine, for instance, get up 15 minutes earlier, and do some sprinting before you get ready for school (sprinting raises your metabolism for a full 24 hours, making it more cost-effective)

Losing weight is a simple equation: if you burn more calories than you eat, the weight will come off. Start off by estimating how many calories you burn each day using the calorie calculator http://straighthealth.com/pages/tools/caloriecalclb.html This will give you an idea of how many calories to eat. Healthy weight loss is 1-2 pounds per week. To lose 1 pound per week you need to create a calorie deficit (burn more than you eat) of 500 calories per day. To lose 2 pounds a week, you have to double the deficit to 1000 calories per day. You can achieve this by eating less, exercising more or a combination of both.

If I really dont have time I try to do some homework then take little breaks to move around. it also helps you study faster by waking your mind up. If you are required to read a book go on a walk and read. its really easy and makes you concentrate so much on the book you forget you are exercising.
