This one person wrote that wearing a condom is murder since you are preventing a life from being born.
This is like saying not having sex with someone is murder because by not having sex with that person is not creating a life.
I agree late-term abortions in which the baby could survive without the mother is a form of infanticide. But killing sperm, that is just ridiculous.
The reason I am pissed off is because the Catholic church is making birth control and condoms harder to access. In many poor countries the Catholic church have banned them.
We have a right to be pissed off and denounce this garbage.

Condoms and birth control are most certainly NOT murder. Even the RCC will agree on that.
As for the rest, look, the RCC has a very specific stand on how it defines life and what the purpose of sex is all about. But just because the church bans birth control doesn't mean it's any harder to get, even in poor countries. The reasons that birth control can be hard to obtain is as much political and economical; the RCC does NOT have that much pull in any country. (Other than Vatican City, duh)

Yes, you are right to be pissed off about that.
And no, contraception is not murder. That is based on the Medieval misconception (no pun intended) that the woman was simply a holding place for the fetus.
The ancient Church understood conception - the canons of the Church, for example, punished abortion with temporary excommunication (usually set at a period of 5 years). Murder, on the other hand, was punished by permanent excommunication. There are no canons against contraception, and the world's oldest denominations have never prohibited contraception.

I can't believe people think we should only have sex to procreate.
Ugh. Each sperm is not a potential baby. Do you people cry everytime you have wet dreams because you have just killed thousands of your potential babies??
Also, for those of you who do not use birth control. What if you cannot carry a child to full term because of a medical condition? Do you just stop having sex, or do you just keep getting knocked up and having miscarraiges?
How those of you who can (like many of us) not afford to have 6million kids. Do you just stop having sex? It's not fair to keep bringing children into the world that we cannot care for. Not having sex is not a reasonable or even a realistic option for most. Condoms are better than letting kids suffer from malnutrition or/and neglect.

Just think if every woman that is child bearing age was pregnant all the time until she could not have children anymore the planet would be over run by human life. Then we would have to resort to cannibalism just to feed the many.

All Religions seem to be getting alittle out there with all these rules. Sometimes you just have to go with whats best for you in any situation. It is also true that there are some people who dont think right or who knows. Life is to short to be putting up with all this.
