Well if he's a nice guy then there's nothing wrong with liking him. You're parents will probably never like the guys you want to date.

The reason your parents don't like him is because he was wearing black? It's not cos he's older than you? You need to find out why they really don't like him. You said that you still like him but you keep it a secret. That might work for a while, but later on they will probably end up finding out, and then they will really not like him, because you kept it a secret. Also, does he feel the same about you? Being 3 yrs. older, he might like you now, and then when he is 19 and you're 16 he might have a different heart. Watch that yours doesn't get broken.

Your parents may never think any guy is good enough for you. But keep in mind that they only want what's best for you. If they don't want you seeing him anymore than you should not. But your question asks if it's alright to still like him. I think you will still like him whether your seeing him or not and you can't turn off your feelings. If you start dating other people that your parents do approve of then eventually you will get over this other guy.

you should trust their judgement as you are still to young to trust your own. he's way to old for you and you know it. it has nothing to do with wearing black.
