Yes.

Protestants probably will not teach the religion classes though.

All Catholic school teachers (Catholic, Protestant, or Buddhist) sign a contract that includes a morals clause stating that they will not live in a way that the Catholic Church would consider immoral.

With love in Christ.

Yes! (it's like missionary work!) No, seriously, because as you know, I respect all creeds and races no matter how misguided and backward they may be, you can teach in an RC school as a non-catholic. The trouble is you are unlikely to be favoured for promotion (exceptions occur in maths and the sciences where intelligent heathens are needed), especially in RE, Guidance, or in any senior management post including HM- It's a 'micky mafia', but fair play to them, it's compensation for the right of accession to the throne and 1690.

I have an uncle who recently retired (for the umteenth time) for the last time. He was a Southern Baptist Pastor for about 55 years, he was also a school teacher for nearly that long. His last job was teaching in a Catholic school. He is 86.

unless it's completely strict on their beliefs and not paranoid of any other biased or roulette opinions apart from that of the catholic beliefs, then no you can ve any religion and still work at a catholic school as long as you are willing to teach some catholic understanding as part of the school curriculum

Yes, if the diocese says that it's okay. I went to a Catholic school, and there were two agnostics, an atheist, a Protestant, and a Quaker on the payroll.

Yes .. by not being allowed too then they are breaking the rules of dicrimination. Take them to court and sort it out if they continue to not allow you to work on the grounds of reliegion. The teachers union will support you! Also tell the press to get even more on your side :P

why shouldnt they? Most people just pretend that they give a **** about religion when infact they dont even practise it. As long as we are all christians then who gives a monkeys. This religion stuff is nonsense now and i am getting rather bored with people fighting about it. true believers would all live in perfect harmony.

Yes, although there may be some places [like Northern Ireland] where it'd be difficult if the kids found out....
