Last summer when we visited family in North Carolina my daughter was covered in mosquito bites even though we re-applied the repellant constantly. we applied so much that she became nauseous from it.... does anyone know what is the best repellant to use for kids. We are going to visit NC again next month and i don't want that to happen again.

This may sound crazy, but it works Skin-So-Soft moisturizing bath oil ( the green and white bottle)only Avon sells it. I have kids and we live in Florida with all type of bugs, but I noticed when I use that skin so soft it kept the bugs off of us... try it out (1-800-for-Avon )this is the number off of my bottle... good luck

Use whatever they recommend and not the one I had! I purchased one started with 'A' and smothered myself, we do not have mosquito here, but bugs that bite and you really do not want to be bitten, so I got a bug repellent then took off the the mountain lakes. We, Mother and I, ended up in the car with the dog, as the bug repellent 'attracted' them! In fact the only way we could take in this magnificent view, turn the wiper on!

Avon skin so soft is a good bug/misquito repellant and also a moisture cream. Purchase a high number sunscreen to prevent sunburn. (no one wants a vacation sunburn) and for the pimple treatment.. proactive is the best my daughter uses. She purchases hers at our local mall free standing carts.

Avon makes a skin oil called "Skin So Soft" that repels mosquitoes. It has a pleasant smell and there are no chemical poisons to seep into the pores of your skin.
