The short answer is no. Reason is Claritin Ds' main ingrediant is psuedoephedrine HCl. A common decongestant, on the other hand if you abused it than it would raise your blood level. In order to make meth you need at least 12 grams. A 15 count 24 hour box contains 3.6 grams. You have nothing to worry about.

Claritin- D ( 12 hr or 24 hr); prescribed antihistaminic; is a combination of two or more active ingredients:.
Loratadine
Pseudoephedrine
Pseudoephedrine can temporarily cause nervousness, dizziness and sleeplessness. It can make you lose your appetite or retain urine. It can also cause heart palpitations, high blood pressure, or high blood sugar levels.
Foods that alkalinize the urine may slow the elimination of ephedrine from the body, potentially increasing the actions and side effects of the drug. Urine-alkalinizing foods include dairy products, nuts, vegetables (except corn and lentils), most fruits, and others. So Claritin - D is best taken on an empty stomach.
Because of the sedative effects of antihistmanics in general : Do not drive, use machinery, or do anything that needs mental alertness until you know how loratadine affects you. To reduce the risk of dizzy or fainting spells, do not stand or sit up quickly, especially if you are an older patient. Alcohol may increase dizziness and drowsiness. Avoid alcoholic drinks
The pseudoephedrine in antihistamincs such as Zytrec has sympathomimetic or adrenergic effect ( vasoconstriction) effects. It has the same effect as the stimulant, epinephrine which speeds your heart rate; same as caffeine. It can give the ampethamine-like effects; such as illegal drugs. Pseudoephedrine in claritin- D; has peripheral effects similar to ephedrine but its central effects are similar but less intense than ampethamines. It has excitatory side effects. Higher doses of prescribed Theophylline (antihistmanics and anti-iinflammatory drug used in Asthma and other resp conditions.) can create this comparable effect. But this drug at therapeutic dosage is usually given in a hospital setting.
But don't worry; the required urine test is usually done to determine any presence of "street drugs." and or including marijuana and crack. etc. Even if ampethamines should show in the urine; the dosage is negligble; as they are from antihistamnics such as Claritin-D. The dosage also should show some cumulative effect as from a habitual drug user to adequately show up in the urine. In other words, you have to take it long term and on a regular basis of high doses for it to show up in your urine. You should inform the person doing your test to make a notation in your record that you are taking antihistaminics for the relief of nasal congestion due to allergic rhinitis or sinusitis. .

All drugs tests offer a spot to record any prescription or OTC meds you have taken within a certain range of time. Just record what you took and when, and you'll be fine. Would your potential employer want you sneezing and sniffling on the job? Probably not!

No. Besides, they will probably ask if you are on any medication, so you can mention it there.
