al rato te hablo

It could mean "call you in a little bit" like on the phone
or
talk to you in a little bit
not necessarily later because later could be whenever but
al rato- means more like a short period of time.

"Talk to you later" is a good translation.

"Rato" usually translates as "a little while, a short time." However, here in Mexico, "a little while, a short time" can go from minutes to hours to days--you never know. A cultural thing.
