If dogs don't see colors, explain why...
each of my four mastiffs have a different color accessories. Each time we buy new collars, etc. how do each of my dogs know which ones are theirs? The only way they *could* know is by recognizing the color. They are all brought in in the same grocery bag, none have ever been on any of the dogs, etc. They somehow identify which one is for each of them.
Example- yesterday my neighbor asked if I had a rope- I grabbed a purple one and handed it to him. My youngest female pup went crazy, all excited, thinking he was going to take her for a ride. All of her accessories are purple, and we have never used any rope, let alone that rope, on any of the dogs. The other three didn't respond. Why did that pup in particular think she was going out?
They *MUST* be able to see some colors, at least enough to identify certain shades.

Dogs can see limited colors. They are red-green color blind and the colors they do see are muted do to the fact that they have much less cones than the human eye has. But on the plus side they can see much better in the dark than we can thanks to a reflective layer behind the retina.

i discussed that to boot even as i develop into showing cocker spaniels years in the past. I loved the black type the perfect. not a lot by using shade, it develop into because the blacks were nicer in conformation and that i fairly cherished the black and tans with the eyebrows. even as promoting doggies, it develop into each from time to time demanding to promote blacks to puppy houses. I heard one excuse that their furnishings or carpet develop right into a mild shade and the black hair might want to instruct extra (stupid). I also heard human beings say they couldn't see the face to boot and couldn't see their expression. i do not fairly have a call even as it contains a dogs shade even as possessing a puppy. both the dogs I really have now are literally not black, besides the indisputable fact that it wasn't that i did not favor one. there have been black doggies in my cocker spaniel's clutter, besides the indisputable fact that, I allowed the breeder to provide me the only she did not imagine might want to instruct instruct high quality and she merely got here about to be a buff. My mini dachshund develop into in a clutter of usually reds and one black and tan. when I talked to my youngsters about having yet another dogs and telling them what develop into contained in the clutter, they wanted the only black and tan, besides the indisputable fact that, after we went back, the black and tan develop into already spoken for. So, we were given a touch pink woman (my avatar). I also imagine the black dogs are extra person-pleasant because the shade is a dominant one. So, you'll see extra black dogs than lighter ones which will have inspired the black dogs rescue.
