'很高兴认识你' means 'very happy to meet you'
definitions of each phrase:
很- very
高兴- happy
认识- meet
你- you

to answer back (politely) you can say:
‘我也是’or ‘我也很高兴认识你’either way...
‘我也是’means 'same to me' or 'same here'
‘我也很高兴认识你’simply means 'i am also very happy to see you'

It means "I am very happy to meet you." Word for word, the translation is Very happy to meet you.

it just means 'very happy to meet you.' all you have to say is 'me too' or 'wo ye shi' or 'wo ye shi hen gaoxing renshi ni' basically add the characters for 'i' and 'am' in front of what you already have.

It says 'very happy (or pleased) to know (or meet) you. In Mandarin we say it 'hen gaoxing renshi ni'. :)
