yes you can. Most black people or sometimes white people when they get brades will take a liter and burn the end of the hair to keep the braids from coming undone, I don't know if they do that anymore, but yea they use fire.

yes. actually some people get their hair "cut" with fire. but i imagine that that is extremely expensive and i would want to make sure the person doing it wont kill me. lol
