They already do. God is the ultimate scientist.

Since most people know that Creationists can read and have done quite a bit of reading, I think that creationsists know what a theory is and when to discard a very vague and faulty one.

The voting in this area demonstrates the group which has the most problem in identifying and evaluating theories.
It also shows which group is least open to any theory other than their own.
May God be with you.

Go to the website 'IntelligentDesignversusEvolution.com' and win $10,000 if you can show scientific evidence of evolution and not some theory that has no proof to back it up.
Also check out 'The Way of the Master.com' website and watch 'The Science of Evolution' video, it will get you to wondering about what you are being fed in those text books.

Have you seen the 6th grade science books?
If they were airdropped it would be a catastrophe, like the dumb turkey drop of WKRP.... only you'd be knocking everyone out.

There are plenty of us here in the Bible Belt that are quite educated, remember, people will not see what is right in front of them if they don't want to. So hit them on the head with the book and they would only say-"What was that?"

We already know what a theory is!

A "theory" is the name given to a proven "hypothesis", said hypothesis having been repeatedly tested.

We disapprove of the Darwinian hypothesis being labeled a "theory", for it is impossible to successfully test the (Darwinian model) processes of macro-evolution, ie abio-athieo-genesis (life from non-life without God). If you want to call the athiestic version of evolution a hypothesis, that is just fine. Just don't ascribe a level of scientific honor where it isn't deserved!

If you want me to answer this question in all seriousness, this is my answer:

People can read whatever they want, but unless they are willing to compromise personal beliefs that have been essential to their upbringing, there really is nothing to discuss.

In questioning creationism, they question much more than just that, and that can be a very large step. No insults to anyone intended.

I very much doubt that a creationist would be able to read a 6th grade science textbook

They would burn the textbooks. Standard Operating Procedure for them, and then they'd try to lobby to never teach science of facts again.

They would be far too busy scurrying about to collect all the devil's work for burning to learn anything...facts are just what Creationist cannot deal with! But, it would make a great fire, wouldn't it...we could get them hauled into court on EPA grounds.

We already do. It's the evolutionists who don't seem to. Why do they broadcast evolutionary aspects as if they were irrefutable fact? Many science teachers do this, and when evolution is talked about on TV, it's also talked about like its the only theory out there and that it is infallibly true! So why don't evolutionists know what a theory is?
