There's no right or wrong time to cry. Some people cry at the drop of a hat, and some other people literally haven't cried since they were small children. People are just "wired" in different ways, but it doesn't mean they're not grieving over the loss of a loved one.

And some people may respond (by crying) at times when other people do not. For example, my grandmother passed away about 6 months ago, at the age of 91. We had been close, and of course I was extremely saddened by her death. But she hadn't been in the best of health for many years, and she had lived a long life, full of happiness and love. Neither I, nor most of my immediate family, cried about it.

That's not because I'm too "tough" or too cool to cry; it's just that her death was an inevitable thing. It wasn't enough to overwhelm me, emotionally.

if you think about it-and this the truth, as awful and heartless as it is- every single second, someone in the world dies.
some people -the ones who died- would have been all alone in the world and no one would have cried. some people get murdered and the killers laugh. some die from disease and theier family cries. as much as all this sucks(sorry, no offense) it happens. people cope and move on. some cry, some mope, some lash out, some blink and move on.

so no, it isnt bad. you deal with it your way. maybe you didnt even know them, maybe you even hated them. i dont know, so i wont judge.

Everyone's different - they deal with things differently.
It may help you feel better to cry - you don't have to do it in public even, but crying is a great way to release those pent up feelings.

We each grieve in our own way, on our own timetable.
Some of us are criers and some of us aren't.
