all christians are always talking about god and everything and how wonderful he is but no one has ever met the guy and for that matter, how does anyone have proof that he isnt just some made up guy (like santa claus)? the only proof is the bible but where is the proof that some random guy didnt just try to get rich by writting a fairy tale about some weird people called adam and eve? god does not exist people, get over yourselfs.

Imagine having a personal friend who is always there, always listening, loves you unconditionally and has a place for you when you die. Also believing in him is an automatic in with a social group. Satisfies so many natural needs. Whether it's true or not is a completely different story.

1980. i had this thought. God is everything ,i don't exist . then i was transported into another realm of existence.things became perfect as they were .i was supremely happy.it was priceless. had nothing to do with the divinity of Jesus. except that i realized that Jesus meant to surrender to life.the modern day mystic Eckhart Tolle teaches this in Power of Now. if you have the experience you could be offered a billion dollars and turn it down(to not have had the experience).be agnostic,god is unknown and unknowable AND surrender to life as it is.BE Happy!

It's too bad you can't point to things in your life where God had his hand. Many things are just not coincidence.
Have you ever met anyone who has a changed life? My own life was so changed, that my co-workers apologized if they swore in front of me.
How would you explain my acceptance of my daughter's death, very soon after it happened? Or that I forgave the man who was responsible?

Have you ever even read the bible? Its not one person who wrote it, it had many authors all divinely inspired by God recounting events and prophesying others that amazingly speak to our lives NOW thousands of years later. I encourage you to read the BIble...because yes, God is AWESOME.

It wouldnt be faith if he appeared. Then it would be scientific proof. Pick up the book and try it out, once you receive christ into your life the miracles happen. So then you believe in the ape theory, if we came from apes we would all look alike, and act alike. I don't know about you but i dont throw fecal matter at my enemy's.

That is your opinion, and i will not try and change it. I believe that some people like to talk about god because they want people to listen to them more. Sometimes it's because they want to spread their faith, other times they just want attention.
