I don't think we will ever know. Based on what we are finding out through Spanish detective work, these sports doctors have been able to beat the tests. Jan Ulrich never tested positive. Neither did Ivan Basso. However it looks as if they have been involved in an elaborate and complex doping program. We will never know. Lance has great lawyers.

Isn't steroids a muscle builder used by body builders and jocks like Barry Bonds and Mark Maguire? Lance certainly doesn't look like a candidate for Mr Universe. Lance has probably been tested more than any other rider in the history of the Tour de France. The French testing has moved into profiling territory. Lance has won 7 Tour de France events and has never been tested positive.
Lance just trains harder than most. It has cost him his first wife. Lance also has a knack of avoiding crashes.

If I am not mistaken he tested positive for the banned substance erythropoieten, it is a medication used to boost red blood cell production for compromised patients with cancer or like terminal diseases. The coarse of treatment would be very common for any persons recovering from chemotherapy. The substance is naturally occuring from the kidneys in respose to decreased glomerular filtration rate of associated blood flow.

First of Mister Lance didn't start off to be a cyclist. He was a marathon runner but rode a bike as well. According to Bob Roll he is the finest specimen for cycling yet. because he whipped cancer quickly without massive doses of drugs in his body he is completely clean internally. That why he passes drug tests and he couldn't believe it. but it's true.

No, he never was. It was all a French conspiracy. They hated him because he came in with his "snobby American attitude" (according to them) and won all "their" races. In my opinion, they're the snobby ones.
