childish behaviour such as 'if you don't believe in me you'll go to hell' AS IF! It is laughable, really. So manmade it is shocking.Conveniently NOTHING can be proven! Heaven/hell-nope. A visual god-nope(he is all around...) Miracles-nope. Virgin births-nope. Water walking-nope. NO PROOF AT ALL.If you want to beieve then you will, it is all in the mind. Anyone agree or have I got it wrong?

"You seem so sure. I've had miracles happen to me by a Supreme Being. I guess you can't see air so you must not believe. Really think about it, have you been blessed? Why do Christians live longer. Sounds like your mad at the world "
Strange you didn't elaborate on the miracles??? Yes I believe in air as hundreds of top scientists around the world would possibly back this up! Not 1 book from the dark ages..

Regarding the existence of God, every individual is entitled to his or her own opinion, but remember, an opinion is a belief---NOT necessarily a statement of FACT.....therefore no one person can be RIGHT and no one person can be WRONG.... So, let he who believes BELIEVE and let he who doesn't believe --NOT... What I have a problem with (and what seems to cause a LOT of controversy) is when one person or group thinks they have the RIGHT to force their BELIEF on others---No matter WHAT that belief is. Many cultures, countries, religions have differing beliefs then the ones you or I were brought up believing---that does NOT make them WRONG---it also does not make them RIGHT----they are beliefs and ONLY BELIEFS....and everyone is entitled to BELIEVE what they WANT to or NEED to believe.!!!!!!

How about, "If you love Me, come with Me. If you don't, then I'll just give you what you want - eternal separation from Me." Doesn't sound childish, but loving and merciful.
BTW, Hell does not currently exist, and it will not burn forever or torture its victims. The traditional view of Hell is not scriptural, but comes from Greek and Roman paganism, which was handed down to the Catholics, who handed it down to the protestants.

I think ya got it wrong... God isn't saying, "If you don't believe in me you can go to Hell.." It goes something like this, all have sinned, the penalty for sin is death [Why it works like this is pretty deep theologically], but Jesus Christ paid for our sins, but we need to recognize that and accept it. It's ignorant to think that God is some guy who decided, "If you don't believe in me you'll go to hell."

i totally agree. if a god existed that was so petty as to behave that way i wouldn't embrace him. all those things you mentioned are man-made constructs and reflect the idiocy of people.
