Though I have not heard of Tyler, I have to tell you that though Yankee has a name, their candles smoke....lots of black smoke, particularly if you do not cut the wick each time before you light. Take a look at your jar sometime or better yet the inside of your glass shade if you use one. They are blackened with soot. I stopped using them.

I must admit I am with dawnb. I stopped buying Yankee and started buying Swell Smells. Yeah, I know you have never heard of them but I have found them to actually be better than yankee AND MUCH cheaper. They also are soy candles so they burn clean no soot, last longer and don't leave wax in my jars. Just my 2 cents...you can check them out at the website below
