I need to download the latest software for my webcam but it will take for ever to download and our internet?

will boot me off before it's done downloading it said it will take about 12 hours to download! any suggestions as what to do, my web cam is a Logitech Quickcam Communicate STX.

do you have service pack 2? if not, [and you run windows], you will need to load SP2. can you get the software sent to you as a CD? sometimes the companies will offer this...or- have a friend with a faster connection d/l it and burn you a copy.
