Your present BMI is about 22.3 at the moment, which is normal. If you want to loose some weight, though, you need to reduce the amount of calories, so that what you burn is more than the intake.
Your metabolic rate (caloric need) depends from your age and the amount if excercise, as well as the daily activity (the type of job, etc). Very young people will need more calories than older people.
Roughly, though, you are likely to need something between 1900 and 2000 kcal/day (less is the level of activity is very low). A diet of about 1400-1500 kcal/day will provide an initial weight loss of 3-5 pounds/month which is likely to slow down with time.
The best diet, though, is a radical and permanent change in life style, with more excercise and a healthier diet.

Personally, I wouldn't think you would need to lose weight but since it is your decision, I would suggest no less than 1400...and that is still low. If you are plannin to exersize then boost that up to about 1700.
as previously said, you have to calculate your personal calorie needs..and many factors including your age and activity level will change the amout of calories you should be having to lose weight. here is one:

Just whatever you do, make sure you are taking good care of your body. Dont push too hard and remeber to eat right.

You first have to find out what you ideal weight, according to medical standards is. This is determined by your age, weight, height, and more importantly your lean body mass.
Then you have to factor in the calories needed to support your daily activities. Most people are surprised to find out that they have to eat more, not less, to lose weight.

your BMR is right around 1400 so no less than that daily. create the caloric deficit by increasing the level of daily exercise. try to get a minimum of 5 hours of exercise in each week

Try a 1200 calorie diet if that doesnt help try 1000. It will be hard to manage. try slim fast for 2 meals then eat a light dinner or weight watchers point system.

PLEASE DO NOT COUNT CALORIES!!!!
IT DOESN'T WORK!!!!
Instead, eat more fruits and vegtables.
Only eat when you are hungry and drink only water.
Eat 3 servings of dairy a day, it boosts your metabolism.
Eat in smaller bowls so your body thinks it's eating more than it really is. That way, you feel fuller more easily.
