half of it broke off inside his thigh while the other half fell to the floor. is there any way to get it out or will the body naturally break it down?

nope go to the er before he gets infected,he may need a tetanus shot.it will not break down inside him,it will go deeper in and travel to god knows where.worst case scenario....septicemia.

accidentally??? what kinda needle jams into your leg and then breaks? if it was a large part of the needle i would take him to the doc so they can clean it out and get the other piece out so there is no infection. if its just a little sliver then i would just clean the area and watch it kinda like a splinter or something.

He should see a doctor. It needs to be removed.
These things can move inward or upward in the body.

It will eventually puss up and work its way out.
