Listen..... I am a mom of a 3 yr old and I will be 33 in June. When I was your age I had a huge problem with food and body image. It was very unhealthy and believe me when I tell you that I wasted a lot of good years worrying that I was too fat or too thin. I worried that my breasts were too small and then worried that they were too big.
It wasn't until very recently that I looked back and saw just how great I looked as a kid. Even now after having a baby and seeing what that experience has done to my body, I can honestly say that I am beautiful even with the stretch marks and breasts that don't look the same.
I could sit here all day and say don't worry, they will come, but you won't be satisified with that answer or any answer that anyone will give you on this site. You have to be satisfied with what you see or don't see within your own body and at 12 it hard to be. It can be scary to start seeing those changes, and it is also totally normal to want to rush change and then to suddenly want the clock to stop. The changes will come.
Here is the deal, the only thing you need to worry about is being healthy- mentally, emotionally, physically. Focus on school, focus on spending time with friends and family, don't take yourself too seriously. It is your job to be a kid for as long as you can. Take it from someone who didn't enjoy her childhood because I spent so much time worrying about what was wrong with my body.
You are going to go through some really big changes over the next 13 years. Yes(!) 13 years! Your body doesn't stop growing and changing until you are 25. And by then , you may be thinking of having a baby and it will change again. But you know what, it is okay. There will come a time that you won't worry so much, but for now, just don't let it take over your life, because it can ruin some of the best experiences that every childhood should have.

How tall are you? That weight seems extremely low for someone of your age, unless you're really short. I don't think that's a healthy weight for anyone over, say, 4'6. Any taller and your BMI would be very unhealthy. If that's the case, then yes, the development of your breasts will be impeded--among other things. If you want to gain weight, make sure you eat full, healthy meals, get lots of protein, and consume more calories than you're burning (ie. the more physical exercise you get, the more you need to eat). Don't eat junk like McDonalds, chips, ice cream, etc... it may pack on the fat if you eat enough of it, but that's not a healthy way to gain weight!
If you are just short and are at a healthy BMI, don't worry about your slow growth. Everyone develops at different ages. I think I was wearing my first training bra at 10 and I got my first period at 11, but I had a friend who was pretty flat throughout her teens and didn't get her period until she was 16! Also, your genes will affect when you start to develop, and how much. Ask your mother about when she started to develop, it should give you an idea of when you'll begin. If you have aunts or a grandmother on your father's side, you could talk to them, too. Really, though, try not to worry so much about it. I know what it feels like to be "behind" everyone else in development (even though I started fairly early, I never grew very much!) but I also know now that there's nothing you can do to speed things up. Just don't stuff your bra. I did that once and let's just say it did not end pleasantly. :)

You are only 12 years old. and although it is hard to accept your body when other girls your age are maturing faster, don't worry about it. Maybe you are late compared to some people, but for you, you're perfect. I had a friend who didn't get her period until she was 16. She had no breasts until then, and now (at 22), she's a DD cup!
Even though it's hard, try not to worry about it or compare yourself to other people. I know how hard that is, after all, I was 12 once, but your time will come. And don't try to get fatter because that will only leave you, well, fat!
And if someone makes fun of you for it, just shrug and say "so?" like you don't even care (even if you're lying). If you don't let it bother you, then it's no fun for them.

the best advice i can give you is...just wait a few more years and you'll be fine...i was like you i had no boobs when i was in the 6th grade and i was and still am stick thin, but my mom doesn't have big boobs so i wasn't expecting to have big boobs but in the last 4 years i grew from a very small A nothing to a bigger B something,so don't worry these things take time and maybe it's not even in your blood to have big boobs,so you'll just get fat and have no shape...THEN you'll feel embarassed..so just relax and let mother nature handle her business...so good luck with that..i wish everything works out the best for you

Your not late in maturing! I started my period and grew breasts when I was 11, my sister when she was 13 and my other sister didnt start growing until she was 15. Please dont try to make yourself fatter. Just give yourself alittle time!! Breasts are not all they are cracked up to be, they are a huge backache!!

you shouldnt do anything. YOu are late in developing because you have low body fat. thats ok. That is just the way you are. You probably wont ever have huge breasts because you just arent built that way. Just make sure you eat healthily and get plenty of exercise.

You're young, don't worry about it, they'll grow. I'm 16 and weigh around 100 and I'm still small in the chest, but I'm really not concerned. Eating more probably won't hurt, I've been told it can help. Someone in middle school told me that I'd never get a boyfriend because I'm small chested, but I have one now so it's really not a huge deal. I wouldn't lose sleep over it.

your fine i was the same way it took me a bit of time then when i was17 they grew like crazy. i went back to my hometown after my first year of college and i was asked if i got a boob job.
if you have your period or whenever you do get it you can be put on birth control to help regulate your hormones and if you that self concious that can make your boobs increase in size

Sweetie, you're only 12. Trust me, you'll get them eventually, and not everyone has them. I'm in highschool and many of my friends aren't "matured". Everyone has their own timing. Take a health class, then you'll understand.
