You might but you don't need to. It's creamy as it is. If you want a variation, go ahead. You could add additional fresh or canned mushrooms in small quantities or a little pimento if you happen to have it. Don't be afraid to experiment. Those are the beginning stirrings of a desire to cook!

I tried cheese on tuna noodle casserole (pretty much your recipe) and I didn't care for it (although I put cheese on a tuna sandwhich, go figure). I think it has something to do with the mushroom soup being in the mix.

An excellent topping is some crushed up regular Pringles sprinkled on top with some butter or margarine dabs to brown them. Yummy. You can crush up the Pringles by putting them in a plastic bag and rolling a drinking glass over them.

That sounds like my grandma's recipe for tuna noodle casserole. Sometimes she puts frozen carrots in it and sometimes she doesn't put anything. And I would say put cheese(I love cheese on everything). To me Veelveta is the way to go. cut it up in chunks put is throughout and put it on top, or just put it on top.

I've never really found tuna and cheese to be a good pairing, but Parmesan might be a good topping.

I would definitely add more veggies and it really doesn't matter what type. Whatever you have available.

Yes! Cheddar or Colby would work great on a tuna casserole!
