Advice on back massager please?

has anyone tried a Homedics back massager - they look great and my bf has ordered me a SBM-300. I have a bad back and am hopeful this will help - does anyone have any experience of them? Don't want to get my hopes up too much...

We bought one for my gramps as he suffers with arthritis in his back and neck..he swears by it.

I have one and I have used it. It feels great for awhile after you quit, but then it disappears and you hurt all over again.
