I wanted to do a lime green or olive green room, and found a good array of colors thru ACE hardware. But our bathroom that I planned to paint has windows all on the south wall, so very very light.
That would be my concern, if there is enuff light or if that makes it a dark room. With pink, I would think of the Thumbelina theme, or even Alice in Wonderland and the tea party theme!
Happy painting! I love the bold colors. jb

Hawaiian comes to mind.
Nothing too loud.
Add some natural wicker items, leis, and a silk palm tree.
Accent with dark green and have some dark fuchsia in there somewhere.
Personally, I would go out and find a funky vintage item ,a dress or shirt and hang it on the wall. I favor vintage, so that is just me.
Edit: Okay, I am having fun with this now. I just thought of adding clear mini lights to the palm tree. This would look so cool at night time.

Polka dots are hot right now. Go online and look at JC Penney's bedding selections for teenage girls and you'll get some great baseline ideas. Think "glam" and you'll get the idea. Another great place to look is Target, practically everything they have is a hit with teens. But CAUTION: Get her approval on the color before you start, because despite your best intentions, she might be more a lavendar girl than a lime green girl. (I have five kids, I know)

The theme would be good if it was for a seven year old. I would paint it more dark colors like hot pink and red or something like that.
