Welcome to the tween years mom and it won't get much better until she leaves the house. Anything you do or say in front of her friends is just embarassing. To bad for her. Have some fun with it. At my house my daughter warns her friends before they come over, that her parents are crazy. Most of her friends love to come over. The more we play with her mind the less she tries to tell us who, what, when or how to do anything. HAHA Reallly it is not a bad thing she is learning teen social skills and just remind her to remain who she is and not to follow, but to lead.
This question is so real!!
Tracylyn 3 daughter 3 sons and lived this one 6 times.
Good luck

Its normal for a teenager to be embarrased of his or her parents. Its just a phase shes going through. Dont worry She will evertually grow out of it. And trust me teenagers always think they know more than their parents do. Which is not the case. Just be there for her and make sure she has a good group of friends trust me friends have a lot of influence on eachother. If shes got a good head on her shoulder she sould be just fine...Shes a teenager from here on out its going to be a whole new experiance for all of you.

Because she thinks she knows more than you do. Pop her butt, ground her and let her know what her place is in the family. If you let her run over you now, in 2 years you will have no control at all.

Well let her know who the parent is. Don't let her run all over you because than shell think she can talk to you any kind of way and do what she wants to do.

Its just puberty, slow down give her her space and keep a healthy relationship with her without getting all over her back. hormones are probably flying all over the place in there.

Not only that but, if you start feeding them they get into the habit and want to eat all the time. Then it's walking, once they start ? did you ever think sex was this serious, and I thought I was poking fun at her, haw?

Teens always think that they know better than we do....this too will pass..just continue to be the parent and let her know who is the boss.
