Dude, im weight training right now. But im sorta the opposite.
I can do lots of pushups and sorts when it comes to endurance. But i cant put on tons of weights when it comes to bench press and stuff.
What you need to do is work on your cardio, work on endurance more with less weights than you normally max out with. Do more reps, so that your muscles with tone up. You'll lose some body fat percentage.

Since im a little weak right now, cuz my forearms are realy skinny. Although my biceps/arm and shoulders are lotz stronger/bigger.

My situation is quite the opposite, so ive been maxing all my weights that i can for all my sets on whatever excersise i do,
(which im not supposed to do 0.0 but instead i just push my body to the limits all the time till i break down exhausted.)
This worked really well for me since ive been doing this for
2-3 days a week for the past 2 months. Im able to add on my current max about more 5 pounds per week. Since im really pushing it. I couldnt really do bench press since i never did any body workouts. Couldnt even lift the bar itsef -.-(what pity)

but now i put on 35pounds on each side of the bar. Ive put on 7pounds of muscle and lost lots of my fat percentage. My legs are ripped. (Since i was one of the fastest runners, i can run SO MUCH FASTER NOW !!)

How much do you weigh? How much can you bench? When you say you "lift what the average guy cant", what type of lift are you doing? And what "average guy" are you comparing yourself to? Someone your age/size/health?

Pull-ups (a.k.a. chin-ups) are much harder than push-ups. Don't worry about them.

You can't even do one push-up? I find that hard to believe. It's easy to fix, tho. Try to do one every day. Within a month (probably less) you'll be up to ten.

I think its because lifting weights is involving you pulling, and push ups are forcing you to push, you probably spend alot more time lifting and pulling than you do pushing, thats probably why you can lift weights like nothing but can't push much. in my opinion

youre could be heavy. or maybe you expect to do the same reps that you can do on lifting weight with your push/pull ups. start with 1-5 reps or less then progress every week. if its not a usual part of your daily workout, its normal that its difficult to do at first couple weeks or so. dont give up.

hi!
NO! dont loose weight just put in more of a variety of exercise. like just start off in low numbers of push ups and pull ups then do more and more until you can punch up the numbers a little keep doing that you should get better at doing push ups and pull ups.

good luck
