You're wrong Debbie.
When a person dies, there is no more chance to get saved. Your soul will live
through eternality, with God or without
him.

Does life make sense to you, QXT?

Deja45,
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to
be ashamed, rightly dividing the word
of truth. 2 TIMOTHY 2:15
Read the verse over again, Deja45
the word "but" is not there.

In my opinion? Well you asked for it;
Jesus Christ, the Son of God and the Son of man, came into the world as a small infant and lived his life only for his Father's will. He lived a pure life, resiting all temptation, and was persecuted for it. He was arrested and put on trial, whipped and stripped of his clothing, and hung on a cross to die. Even as He was dying, the people there still degraded Him. We as the miserable excuse for people we are, never deserved such grace from God. Jesus Christ was the pure and sificient sacrifice for those who belive and were, are, and will ever be sinners. That, my friend, is true salvation.

A joke, a fallacy, a false promise, a crooked guarantee....call it what you will, the Christians have made a joke of this salvation thing.

Does this even make sense??? Accept Christ as your saviour, and you will be saved, you will be guaranteed heaven, despite what you might do later on, because Jesus died for all your sins.

Get real. How can one man dying atone for EVERYONE's sins? Answer, he cant. Just think how many sins occur everyday from big ones to small, from each and every place on earth, since time began, people have been sinning, some such massive sins. Can Hitler's sin of butchering 6 million Jews and millions of others really be atoned for by ONE man? Come on.

What is the point of a religion that guarantees you paradise??? Islam and Judaism dont guarantee you heaven - they may tell you what to do in order to achieve heaven, but still there is no guarantee. While Christianity promises you salvation, no matter what...that just defies the whole point of a religion - to make people do good, live their lives morally righteously etc etc, but if you've been handed your ticket to heaven, why would you care about living you life rightly???

Just another aspect of Xianity that just doesnt make sense.

there is foretold a calamity coming on the inhabited earth...meaning people will see when it comes and will experience it. God says if we run to him he will protect us and save us.
He says he is going to make the earth a paradise and make faithful followers of Christ walk through the calamity into that paradise without dying.
And the ones that have died in the past will come back to life and be given a chance also to accept or reject God.

I want to be saved. I pray for salvation. I want every human to turn back to God so we can all be saved.

Because God could only accept a perfect, sinless sacrifice, and because He knew that we could not possibly accomplish that, He sent His Son to die for us and pay the eternal price. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.." (John 3:16)

Prayer of Salvation - Say It & Mean It Now!
Do you agree with everything you have read so far? If you do, don't wait a moment longer to start your new life in Jesus Christ. Pray this:

"Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward you. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen."

Prayer of Salvation - I've Prayed It; Now What?
If you've prayed this prayer of salvation with true conviction and heart, you are now a follower of Jesus. This is a fact, whether or not you feel any different. Religious systems may have led you to believe that you should feel something - a warm glow, a tingle, or some other mystical experience. The fact is, you may, or you may not. If you have prayed the prayer of salvation and meant it, you are now a follower of Jesus. The Bible tells us that your eternal salvation is secure! "that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." (Romans 10:9)

Welcome to the family of God! We encourage you now to find a local church where you can be baptized and grow in the knowledge of God through His Word, the Bible.

Once one has gotten salvation they then are to find a church with that doctrine so they can grow and learn God's word.

2 Tim 2:15
"Study to shew thyself a workman needeth not be ashamed but rightly dividing the word of truth."

That sums it up for me. Hope this answers your question

Deliverance from temporal evil or earthly destruction. God is figuratively Salvation, and Jesus provided salvation of the gospel.

Greetings!

"Salvation", for me, is being "saved" from the dogma of religion, politics, society, and that of any other group that would seek to control me. The only thing to be saved from is someone else's agenda.

I wish you Peace.
