Can any of you lot give me any ideas of nice songs to walk up the aisle to. I have a dinosaur computer and therefore cannot download or burn CD's so buying them is the only option so I don't want suggestions of music downloads thanx. Just the name of the song and the artist so I can look it up on youtube and then I'll see which one I prefer and I will let you know what I decide on.
Thanx in advance for your co operation.
Dawn.

I'm having a hard time with this too, but here is my list so far (it's a work in progress). I really want my wedding to be FUN above anything else. processional: (walking down the aisle): I Gotta Feeling - Black Eyed Peas Walking on Sunshine - haven't picked a favourite version yet recessional: (end of ceremony): Shiny Happy People - REM Married Life - from "UP" soundtrack All You Need is Love - Beatles first dance: Wonderful World - Israel Kamakawiwo'ole version Dream a Little Dream - Louis Armstrong version something jive - looking for a really cool jive song to dance to! garter toss: Oh Yeah - Yello slide show: Do You Remember - Jack Johnson Man of Devotion - Fool's Garden I'm still working on finding the perfect songs. I want to dance down the aisle with my bridesmaids and groomsmen etc, hence the more upbeat songs. I think it will be much more fun than just walking down with traditional music!

I'm walking down the aisle to Pachelbel in two months time as well - our church doesn't have facility for music on a cd etc, which is annoying otherwise we would have had Smashing Pumpkins - Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness. I know the title isn't very apt but it's a lovely piece of music! My friend walking down the aisle to Foo Fighters - Walking After You which was also very emotional. Depends on your taste in music of course.

You could always go for the cheese option "Suddenly" by Angry Anderson (remember, from Scott and Charlenes wedding on Neighbours in the 80's)

Or, for a change, the spanish version of "Angels" by Robbie
Williams. Or a quick list:

"Im Already There" by Lonestar
"Maybe Thats What It Takes" by Alex Parks
"(I Just) died in your arms" By Cutting Crew
"Always and Forever" By Luther Vandross (My Choice)
"Right Here Waiting" by Richard Marx

Cant think of any more. My personal choice would be the Luther track.

All the best for your wedding!

I'm getting married in October and my fiancee is going to walk down the isle to "How sweet it is to be loved by you". It's light hearted and not to formal or serious. That's how we want our wedding to be. It's in a barn. For a funny song go for Billy Idol. "nice day for a white wedding" or even "the final countdown" That would keep people talking for along time after. Try not to get to worked up about such a small part of the day. I know you want it all to be perfect, but it's you day. Enjoy it. Good luck to you both for the future.

I had a sax player perform The Wedding Song by Kenny G....my photographer started crying when she heard him play it because she said she always wanted to walk down the aisle with that song too!

Pachelbel - Canon in D
Handel - Arrival of the Queen of Sheba

Maybe a little too traditional though, depending on the style of wedding you have in mind, but great pieces of music nonetheless.
