As of this morning, I've lost 22 lbs since this January. I'm happy with my progress and I plan to continue. I've slipped a few times, and honestly could have/ should have lost even more than I have by now. I don't mean to complain, because I know lots of people have a difficult time dropping even 5 or 10 lbs- as I have tried and failed several times. I have noticed that my clothes fit better, my stomach isnt as "poked" out when I look down, and in general, I feel better. I've only lost 1 jeans size during the 22 lbs. It seems like my fat loss isnt very obvious and some people look at me like I'm lying about my progress when I tell them how much I've lost (when they ask- I dont brag). I am fairly tall, so I'm sure thats part of it- but what else could it be?

Can I ask how many calories you've been consuming and also have you been cutting out carbs or protein? Do you do cardio and strength training.

I know everyone loses weight differently and if you are taller, you do usually need to lose more weight to drop a dress size. However, if you have not been eating enough calories or doing too much cardio and not enough strength training, you may have lost too much muscle mass.

I would definitely recommend having your body fat percentage tested to find out how much of your weight loss has been from fat and how much of it has been from muscle. Then you can track your progress and if necessary, adjust your diet/routine to ensure that you are losing fat and maintaining as much muscle mass as possible.

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.

I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.

It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

People don't seem to acknowledge weight loss. I lost 52 pounds at Weight watchers and hardly anybody said a thing to me. I was very proud of myself.

It probably just that you are tall. I'm short and people can tell when I lose 5 lbs. Just know that you are much better off for losing the weight

it depends on where you start from. for someone who's heavier, 22 lbs might not look like as much. keep up the progress. think about how much healthier you are already. it's no wonder you feel better. and it will look like more, the smaller you get. screw everyone else. do this for you, no one else has to live in your skin.

I could be that you are just losing weight not toning up at the same time. When you tone-up you gain muscle and your body becomes smaller.

If a substantial portion of those 22lbs. were muscle then your body fat% is still going to be high and thus your overall physique will not drastically change.

Your turning it into muscle too, don't forget. Muscle gets built up under the fat, so I would work on losing the fat first then work on the muscle.

dont worry about what others say as long as you are happy with the progress and feel good for it. keep going if you need it slow is better than fast for your health.
