Short answer, yes.
Bit longer answer: First, its important to know that not all chemo drugs cause hair loss. Some don't cause any hair loss and others might just cause the hair to thin.
How long before hair loss is seen varies from drug to drug, but also from person to person.
Hair can be lost from all over the body, and yes, this includes pubic hairs. A person on chemo can also lose their eyebrows or even the hairs from inside of their nose.
Hair loss is an individual thing, though. Just because you lose your head hair, for example, doesn't necessarily mean you will also lose your leg hair or your facial hair (if you're a guy). And, some people even begin regrowing hair in the middle of treatment.

Not always, and many times it depends on the chemo drugs or combination of chemo drugs used, and also if it's combined with radiation.
As with head hair, some people get only thinning, some get heavy thinning, and others lose it all. There's no way to tell who will and who won't. But it does grow back unless it's an area that received heavy radiation treatment. Most of those areas will be permanent hair loss.

As others have stated you can lose it any where on your body. It is hard at first but, the important thing is to remember this is a route to continued life. Have fun with it. I did and am again but, would rather live than worry about hair. It is just cosmetic. Good luck and God Bless

If you recieve one or more of the chemotherapy drugs that effect hair follicles and cause hair loss you will loose hair at every place that you have hair including the hair on your head, face underarms, pubic, eyelashes and eyebrows. Since they grow at different they will fall out at different times. It takes about 2 weeks to start to loose hair. But remember, all chemotherapy drugs do not cause hair loss.

If chemo causes you to lose your hair--you lose ALL your hair--which is not necessarily a bad thing--no leg shaving!!!

Chemotherapy targets rapid growing cells, so any cell that is rapid growing such as hair (including pubic, eyebrows etc) as well as GI cells. BUT it all depends on the specific drug being used, not all cause hair loss.

I had a form of chemo that didn't make me lose my hair anywhere. Whew!
Still, I'd rather be bald than dead.

yes, chemotherapy affects all rapidly dividing cells, specifically skin cells, hair cells, and cells lining the stomach and intestine. certain agents cause hair loss at much lower doses then other agents. some chemotherapies may not result in any hair loss. some may result in total body baldness.
