i'm from ohio and moving to new york city obviously it's going to be different can someone tell me things to expect while there.
subway,shopping,people,ect. ect.

Energy. NYC is pure lights and electricity. Some love it, others tire quickly. If you like the hustle and bustle and the non-stop movement of everything, NYC is your kind of town.

expect to pay a lot for everything, buy good walking shoes, buy a metro card, the crime is no different there than in any other big city, and yes, it is dirty in most places

Crime and filth and more people than you would ever want to bump into. stay in Ohio.
