People get off drugs, or alcohol without God. People defeat cancer, depression, overcome sexual abuse without God.

What I'm trying to say is, it might not be God that cured you, or helped you through a tough time, it just might be you (and/or doctors, friends and family). So be proud of yourself for overcoming any of life's struggles. Prayers aren't always answered, but positivity can do wonderful things.

Miracles do happen to everyone...its up to you who you credit. I like to think that we need to be the miracles that happen...and that we are.

When someone tried to assassinate the Pope and he got shot, he said that the bullet was guided by "a maternal hand" (he was really big on Mary). One would wonder why Mary didn't guide the bullet to miss him completely. He also gave no credit to the surgeons who worked on him for six hours or something like that.

This is one of the things I hate about theism--giving God all the credit for the good things that happen (or the bad things that are salvaged), but humanity (or Satan (dun dun DUNNN!) gets all the blame for the bad stuff. That's bullshit, seriously, and if people keep this up, one day these people are going to get fed up and stop doing thankless jobs.

I agree! I actually saw a study that said that people with a curable but possibly fatal disease or who were in an accident did better without the 'assistance of God' because they forced themselves to gather the strength to overcome their problem, instead of lying back and hoping God would do it for them

I had this infection on my leg, it was real bad. I prayed and prayed and nothing happened. Chuck Norris peed on it, and guess what? It went away, and not only that, I ran the boston marathon the next day, and im not even in shape.

Thank you Chuck Norris!

Chuck Norris agrees that the only miracle has been the birth of Chuck Norris.

There is your problem. Who said that just because you don't believe in God means that He won't help you?

this miracle thing is driving me crazy...say 10 people died in an accident and one survives and THAT proves that "God" exists!

i guess even if he does exist,he plays favourites or something...
